Introducing: Stories From The Product Room

Stories From The Product Room

The more products I helped build, the more I realized something interesting.

The hardest product problems are rarely about technology.

They're about people.

Convincing a team to say no to a feature.

Choosing between what customers ask for and what they actually need.

Knowing when to ship.

Knowing when to wait.

Balancing business goals with user experience.

These problems aren't unique to Product Management. They've existed for centuries—only the names have changed.

A king deciding how many gates his kingdom should have...

A merchant trying to understand his customers...

A carpenter choosing between speed and quality...

A fisherman celebrating the wrong numbers...

They all faced the same decisions we face in product teams today.

That's what inspired me to start a new writing series called Stories From The Product Room.

Instead of talking about roadmaps, agile frameworks, KPIs, or AI prompts, I'll tell short fictional stories. Every story will end with a lesson that mirrors a real product management challenge.

Some will make you smile.

Some might make you uncomfortable.

Hopefully, all of them will make you think.

If you're a Product Manager, Designer, Engineer, Founder—or simply someone who enjoys looking at familiar problems from a different perspective—I hope you'll enjoy this journey.

The first story is coming soon.

See you in Stories From The Product Room
