v5.1 Currently shipping at Storable

I turn messy customer problems into software people actually finish using.

Anvesh — Senior Product Owner. Sixteen years across the USA, the Middle East and India, spent on the unglamorous middle of commerce: the pricing engine, the checkout that drops people, the payment that has to reconcile, the loyalty programme that has to earn its own budget. B2B SaaS platforms and the transactional products inside them.

01 — Release history

Every role, as a version

Major versions are companies. The minor bump is a promotion. Listed newest first.

  1. v5.1 Apr 2026 — now current

    Senior Product Owner

    Storable · Hyderabad, India

B2B SaaS for self-storage, marine and RV operators. I own the WebApps platform — online reservations and move-ins running across 1,000+ operator websites and the company's own marketplace channels.

    • Scaled WebApps into a $6M+ ARR engine spanning web, third-party integrations and marketplace channels.
    • Opened a new acquisition channel by extending marketplace distribution to a second property — a two-sided marketplace feeding 1,000+ merchant storefronts.
    • Co-own strategy and roadmap with the PM; present the quarterly roadmap to leadership against market and competitive context.
    • Shipped granular UI customisation so operators can shape move-in workflows to their own brand and operations.
    • Instrumented the full journey with end-to-end event tracking, which is how the drop-off points stopped being a matter of opinion.
  2. v5.0 Dec 2024 — Apr 2026

    Product Owner

    Storable · Hyderabad, India

    • Redesigned the online move-in flow — 20% conversion improvement, 11% reduction in web churn.
    • Built self-service configuration tools, removing the need for custom development on every operator request.
    • Held 97% on-time delivery on committed roadmap items through iterative release and A/B testing.
    • Ran quarterly advisory sessions with the top ten operators to pressure-test roadmap priorities.
  3. v4.0 Jul 2021 — Aug 2024

    Product Owner

Alghanim Industries · Kuwait City, Kuwait

Multi-brand retail group, 200+ locations. Started as a business analyst, left owning the loyalty and payments products — and the agile transformation that made them shippable.

    • Owned an omnichannel commerce wallet — in-app payments, P2P transfers and click-and-collect across 200+ retail locations and three Middle East markets.
    • Grew monthly active wallet users 35% through targeted feature work and engagement campaigns.
    • Took the loyalty app from 15,000 to 45,000 users in 18 months, with a 40% improvement in 30-day retention.
    • Introduced A/B testing — 12+ controlled experiments on onboarding and retention.
    • Moved the team off 6-month waterfall onto bi-weekly sprints, and replaced output targets with outcome-based OKRs.
  4. v3.0 Jan 2017 — Jan 2021

    Senior Business Analyst

TechOps Inc · Plano, TX, USA

Retail technology consulting for a global apparel brand — enterprise commerce and store systems across 1,000+ locations.

    • Translated enterprise retail requirements into user stories, wireframes and acceptance criteria for mission-critical systems.
    • Ran agile ceremonies across three concurrent product teams.
    • Coordinated UAT, defect triage and release planning on a bi-weekly cycle.
  5. v2.0 Mar 2012 — Nov 2016

    Senior Business Analyst

SCM Data India Pvt. Ltd. · Hyderabad, India

E-commerce and retail integration for Fortune 500 department-store and big-box clients — the years that taught me what a transaction actually costs to get right.

    • Owned promotional pricing engines handling 10,000+ concurrent offers through peak retail season.
    • Coordinated offshore teams of 15–20 developers through planning and delivery.
    • Supported large-scale commerce platform migrations and system integrations for Fortune 500 retail.

  6. v1.0 Sep 2009 — Jan 2012

    Senior Business Analyst

Pharmacy and logistics IT, supporting 4,000+ locations.

    • Led requirements analysis for an SSN elimination programme spanning 145+ enterprise applications under HIPAA.
    • Replaced paper-based pharmacy workflows with web-based systems.
    • Worked across legal, compliance and operations to define acceptance criteria for regulatory requirements.

04 — Beyond work

Writing, and the rest of it

I've kept a personal writing archive since 2007 — essays, fiction, film writing, art. It predates every job listed above, which is either a good sign or a suspicious one.

These days I write Stories From The Product Room, a parable series about the small decisions that quietly decide what ships: the prioritisation call made in a corridor, the requirement everyone nodded at and nobody understood.

Otherwise: Indian cinema, Vedic philosophy, and a daily walk that's really just thinking time with a step count attached.
